Q: Do you take insurance?
A: We provide a superbill for you to
submit to your insurance but we do not accept insurance as a form of payment. Every insurance company reimburses slightly
differently, ranging from 0-100% for our services. Check with your insurance to find out what they may reimburse for an out-of-network
Gynecologist (Dr. Gottfried). Payment is due at the time of visit by credit card.
Q: How many visits will I need to feel a difference?
A: Most patients need 2-3 visits to
feel the effects of our transformative work. The first visit is for a thorough history and to assess which labs to order.
The second visit generates a protocol, based on your lab results. The third visit is to refine the protocol based on your
experience. Occasionally, complex cases may require additional visits to notice significant improvement. Most likely, you
will know within 3 visits whether our work will benefit you.
Q: Do you prescribe bioidentical hormones?
A: Yes, we find that bioidentical hormones provide the best
symptom relief and prevention with the fewest side effects. We find that simultaneous balancing of estrogen, progesterone,
testosterone, adrenal hormones and thyroid achieves the most marked results.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Your time with the doctor has been reserved for you exclusively.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment please call or email us as soon as you can. Please note that we have a 72-hour
cancellation policy. We will attempt to fill cancelled appointments and if successful, there will be no
charge. If less than 72 hours notice is given and we are unable to fill the appointment, you will forfeit
your deposit of $80.
Q: How often do you offer
your Cleanse? What can I expect from that?
A:
A 21-day Cleanse is offered two to three times per year at the Gottfried Center. Detoxification
is a continuous physiologic process that your body depends on for survival. If you
experience unexplained fatigue, digestive problems, sluggish elimination, irritated skin, joint pain, weight loss resistance, constipation
or poor concentration this is a chance to lessen your toxin load.
