Beyond The Traditional
Have you noticed that conventional gynecologists offer
the birth control pill and ibuprofen as the answer to nearly every hormonal question? Or that surgery is often the quick answer
to complicated situations involving fibroids or excessive uterine bleeding? Finally, you have other options, aligned with
your values and addressed to the root cause, as well as proven to be safe and effective.
Sara Gottfried M.D., board-certified
gynecologist, has served as the Founder and Director of Gottfried Center for Integrative Medicine for the past four years.
A Harvard graduate, Dr. Sara completed her residency training at The University of California at San Francisco, one of the
top five OB/GYN programs in the country, and completed a fellowship with the American Heart Association with a focus on aggressive
prevention in women. Dr. Sara has logged in thousands of hours of continuing education in both traditional and alternative
health care. Additionally, she completed hundreds of hours in continuing medical education with Andrew Weil M.D.
Dr.
Sara practiced as a conventional gynecologist for 16 years, and eventually found traditional western medicine practice limiting
and poorly serving the needs of women.
A Holistic Approach To Gynecology
Today,
her practice takes an aggressive approach to wellness through analysis and prevention by combining conventional and integrative
